But similar to the mellow beats of calypso music, it works hard while you relax. Add a BBQ rack to cook over and then keep your food warm in the wings while you gather round and gaze at the embers.
The Calypso fire pit sits low to the ground, perfect for lounging around day and night, keeping you company from morning coffee to your sundowner. The surrounding shelf warms up so that your hot toddy remains toasty and your chips and dips all melty and delicious. You can also add on a Half Moon BBQ Rack then pull up a pew to effortlessly watch over your steak and sausages as you gather round with family and friends.
Accessorise your fire pit
Our Calypso fire pit is part of our classic fire pit range, designed for warmth, but with the addition of a few accessories, can also serve up some wood-fired treats. Our Half-Moon BBQ Rack transforms the lounging Calypso fire pit to the centre of fire food creation, and our Hot Plates and Skillets takes you from fire to table. Pop on a lid, and the lounger re-emerges as your coffee table or drinks holder.

Maintaining your fire pit
NB: All our fire pits, lids and accessories will begin to rust immediately and will not maintain their black finish. However, this will not affect their long term durability. As all our fire pits are handmade from sheet steel which has naturally occurring blemishes, there may be very slight variations in the forging and finish.
