Or perhaps you’re more of an absence makes the heart grow fonder sort of person and want a fire pit you can pack away at the end of the season like your summer wardrobe. Made with the same robust British steel as the rest of our fire pits, the flat pack design makes this little beauty portable enough to join you on your travels and easy to pack down at the end of the summer.
The Flat Pack Fire Pit slots together with elegant practicality. Slide the plates in place to form a modern fire pit, then once it has cooled, it compacts down to an easily packable or storable size. It comes with a removable grill so that you can cook as well as look. Like the swing arm before it, the BBQ grill allows you to adjust to the fire’s temperature; which makes cooking over wood so much easier. By sliding along the top of the fire pit, the BBQ grill can be positioned as close or as far away from the hot embers or flames as required. Made from 2mm British steel with a 3mm steel BBQ grill in our Monmouthshire workshop.
Accessorise your Flat Pack Fire Pit
Even though this lovely fire pit can be sent to the shed for the few months of the year when sitting round a fire is more of an indoor activity, a couple accessories wouldn’t take up too much extra space and can be useful for cooking over or managing your fire. Like the Fire Pit BBQ Gloves or Ash Rake, which is great for moving hot embers around to help even out your cooking temp.
Maintaining your Flat Pack Fire Pit
NB: All our fire pits, lids and accessories will begin to rust immediately and will not maintain their black finish. However, this will not affect their long term durability. As all our fire pits are handmade from sheet steel which has naturally occurring blemishes, there may be very slight variations in the forging and finish. Please click here for handy tips on the safe use and care of your fire pit and accessories. When lit, the heat will cause some movement of the Flat Pack Fire Pit. Please make sure to cool it completely before packing it down.
