Our BBQ Ring with Warming Swing Arm Collection is perfectly designed to sit atop the majority of our fire pits. The hot flat grill sears uniformly and with both plate and grill areas, you can also chargrill for a BBQ finish. The elevated Warming Swing Arm slots in and out of the BBQ Ring so that you can keep food warm whilst the rest cooks on the grill below.
For use with seasoned wood or charcoal, heat up the flat BBQ Ring and pour a few drops of water onto the surface to check that it’s ready for action. If the water forms beads then you’re ready to sizzle. Marinate your food rather than add oil to the surface, and dissolve cooking juices using vinegar, wine, soy sauce or lemon. You can scrape the juices off then and add to your dishes.
Like all our fire pits, the BBQ Grill is made from quality British steel in our Monmouthshire workshop. The 8mm steel BBQ grill and 3mm steel warming swing arm will oxidise as it settles into your garden, developing a rich rusty patina. The rust does not affect the longevity. Using a lightly flavoured cooking oil and a good blast with the fire will help keep the cooking surface rust free.

Maintaining your fire pit
NB: All our fire pits, lids and accessories will begin to rust immediately and will not maintain their black finish. However, this will not affect their long term durability. As all our fire pits are handmade from sheet steel which has naturally occurring blemishes, there may be very slight variations in the forging and finish.
