Smokin’ Wood Chips from the Green Olive Firewood Company are made from virgin woods so there are no chemicals or additives. All wood is ethically sourced from pruning felling and replanting from orchards and is natural and sustainable.

Olive Wood Smokin’ Wood Chips: Olive wood imparts a slightly sweet, smokey fruity flavour that is not only very suitable for fish, but also for chicken, pork, vegetables, and even fruit because of its light smokey scent!
Whisky Oak Smokin’ Wood Chips: Whisky oak imparts a strong smokey flavour with a touch of whisky aroma, which makes it perfect for bold red meats, game meats, meaty fish and hearty vegetables, such as aubergines.
Directions for use: The Green Olive Firewood Company recommend soaking their wood chips in water for about 30 minutes. After that, place the soaked chips in a smoking box or directly into the charcoal in the BBQ or Smoker. This allows the smoke to permeate the food and enhance its flavour. After all, cooking is all about how delicious the food is.

NB: All our fire pits, lids and accessories will begin to rust immediately and will not maintain their black finish. However, this will not affect their long term durability.
